Mary was up before 8:00 this morning but was tired and cold, she rested on the couch and took a nap. She had a slow start in the bathroom but once she was dressed and had something to eat, we looked at a map of the states and named them all with the dry erase marker. I asked Mary a few times if she wanted to go to Tracy Aviary but each time she just wasn't into it. We went to Sugarhouse park on a long walk for over an hour! She wanted to come back and when she was in front of her house, she was in her 'familiar zone'. I think it calms her down to at least come home for a minute. I asked (While she was still in the car) if she wanted to go out again. We went back to the park. She wanted me to park in a place with lots of cars. Most of the time, she prefers quiet and no one around. She gets anxious sometimes. Afterwards, we came back to the house and I fixed her a snack and cleaned up.
(When we were sitting in my car getting ready to go out again, we were looking at the licence plate in front of us and the letters were MLA. I was making things up like 'Mary Lost Again...' she came up with 'Mary Left to get the boy and put him to sleep with a pillow so she could go and A play. I wasn't sure what she was talking about until I looked at the licence plate again. Clever Mary! :) )
