These are the only pics I took this month. We finally made it to Tracy Aviary though. The peacocks were all showing off. They were all so pretty everywhere we went. Mary's legs were getting tired so we didn't stay long. This month has been a little up and down. We've had some really good days, some not so good. She's been sleeping a lot more lately too. I love it when she laughs and dances around :) She is a sweet lady. This month, we've gone out to the park, had picnic's, gone on walks, played games...just things to keep Mary busy. Peter will be going out of town soon to go fishing. Mary will be staying at Garden Terrace while he's gone. Me and Luisa will still be going over to keep up the consistency we have with her. She really likes it there and likes to help out and talk to everyone there.  

Mary has been saying and doing a lot of funny things. The other day she was making faces at herself in the mirror. She's been in pretty good moods the last little while. There have been more good days than bad days lately. She seems to go up and down. Peter was gone over the weekend and she had a little bit of a harder time today. She has been able to go on some really long walks. Earlier, she wasn't able to walk very far without getting tired easily. 

We went to the Library for a free Savvy Senior movie at the downtown SLC library last Wednesday. I noticed a note on the door that they were giving away books downstairs! We went back in and picked up some books. Mary found 2 that she wanted.

I took today off so that Luisa could work my shift. She's going to California this weekend and will miss a few days. Claire is leaving later today. I hope all goes well.

Clair has been here for a few days, it's been nice for Mary to have her here. We went for a walk and she saw someone she thought looked like Claire. She mentioned something about that it was nice to have her visiting. We went to the capitol and then to the park close by, dropped off a book at the Senior Center and picked up a few more and then went out to lunch. The kids are on spring break and Amie is in Hawaii! I'm glad Mary has some company :)

I think this is the day it snowed! it had been a really nice weekend and then BAM, snow. I think we stayed in on this day and made a wreath. I can't remember for sure. It could have been a movie day too.
(Mornings seem to have been better lately., mood wise. Mary seems happier in the mornings when she wakes up. She does get more tired later in the day and has taken short naps. She gets worn out easier on walks too.)

I fixed some breakfast and then we went out for the day. We went to lunch at Shanghai. Some mornings are getting to be a little harder these days; not as independent. .

Mary was funny today. I had her try on these beer glasses and took a picture so I could show her. She thought it was pretty funny. She had a good day today.

The last couple of weeks have been really good for Mary. I'm not sure what the difference is, but she has been really happy, talkative and just in a good mood. I helped her to make a spring wreath. It turned out really cute. 

Today though, was not a good day. She was up when I got to the house and from what I heard, she went to bed late and wouldn't listen to the kids last night. I think that carried over to today. She was really resistant, non compliant and not in a good mood. She did end up taking a nap for a little bit today, that may have helped. She seemed better by the end of the day.

Mary woke up in a good mood and was happy all day.
Super good day today. We went to Brickyard and walked around in the stores and then had lunch at Zuppa's then to Dollar Tree to get some things to make a spring wreath. Mary picked out the flowers she wanted to put on the wreath. We stopped at Dunkin Donuts on the way home. She did get a little agitated when she got home. All in all, great day! :)

Louisa stayed here this past weekend and we talked about Mary for a while. Mary was up late last night and got up late this morning. I made some breakfast and we talked about singers from the good ole days. She remembered Frank Sinatra. We looked at and read some of the Doo Woo book. She went to lay down for a while and I cleaned up. She was tired today.

We went to Dollar Tree to look for some things for Valentine's Day, she didn't want to get anything and wasn't really that interested. She did want some M and M's, she opened those so we bought them. We drove to pick up a book at the Senior Center and then I think we came home for lunch. Noah took over around 5:00.

I didn't get a chance to wright this one down but I remember it wad a good and happy day.

It was a cold day today. Mary was up early though and warmed up on the couch. After breakfast and when she was ready for the day, we watched an animal show and then worked on a puzzle. We went out to Trolley Square to go for a walk and then to my house for lunch. She came with me to Walmart for an errand and then we went back to the house. Noah took over around 5:00. 
Luisa is working for me on Wednesday. I'm driving down to Lake Havasu to visit my parent's for a few days. I'll see Mary again on Monday.

We had the same kind of morning today. I had to do some laundry before we could get going. We watched a cute movie and I think we waited too long, Mary didn't want to get dressed. Later on we returned a book, went for a walk around the Sugar house area and went to a few shops. There has been a puzzle out on the table that we did a while ago. I took some of the pieces out and Mary did a good job at helping me put the puzzle back together. Noah took over and I left a little earlier today.

Mary had a good day today but we had to wait for laundry so she could get dressed. We had what I called a Monday morning movie. When laundry was done, Mary got ready for the day. We went on a walk around the neighborhood and Mary was in a hurry to get back to the house. I had her relax for a little bit and then we went out again. We got back just in time to get her changed and ready for dinner. Alise took over to get her some dinner. I'll see her again on Wednesday.

Mary had a hard time today. She woke up a little later than usual and didn't want to get dressed today. We read and watched a movie and a little bit later, she decided to get dressed. She didn't want much help today. It was cold and snowy, maybe that had a little bit to do with it. We went for a walk around the neighbor hood. It was a short one, she was cold It was an off day for her but she did have a few good moments. I told her Luisa would be back in the morning.

We took some books back to the Friendly Neighbor hood Senior Center today and picked up some more. The arts and crafts room wasn't open today. She likes to see what's going on in there. They always have a few people working on different projects in the room and it's fun to see what people have been making. We had lunch at my house today and then went walking in some shops by my house. We found a wig in her closet, I had her put it on. She laughed when she saw a picture of herself. I tried it on and when I asked her how I looked she said, 'you look like your 100 years old. Ha ha. It was a good day. Night time was a little harder getting her ready for bed.

Mary got up a little later today. It was a cold and rainy day. We went to a couple of places but they ended up being closed since it's a holiday. We did go and pick up some more laundry soap and then went for a walk at some stores and then went and had lunch at my house. We came back and I started some laundry for Mary. I helped her to get ready for bed.

Luisa worked for me so that she could go to California on Tuesday to be with her mom.

Mary had a hard time this morning. After her shower (We did have a laugh at my phone going off while we were in the bathroom. It's a funny ring tone). Mary went back to bed, she was cold. I cleaned then made some brunch when she got up. We went to the library then to Friendly Neighbor Hood Senior Center. We went for a walk up at Foothill Village and looked around in some stores. I made some dinner and she was anxious. I turned on the TV to give her something to watch.

Today was kind of a mellow day. Mary was tired and took a few naps. We did go for a walk later on at Costco. She helped with a puzzle and we were singing/humming while we were working on it. Later that evening, Mary said it had been a long day and she was exhausted. She was so sweet. I went in to help her to bed, she said "I love you". She wouldn't go to bed though, she kept getting up and coming out to tell me 'thank you for all the hard work you do'. Another time it was how much she appreciated me. Another time it was to give me a kiss. She walked away and said 'that's that'. I finally went in again to put her to bed and mentioned that she had told me everything she possibly could. We laughed about that. I told her she needed to go to bed. It was all very sweet :)

Mary was up a little bit earlier today. I had the TV on and she didn't want to finish getting ready for the day. She was really into whatever it was that was on. We finally got going and went for a walk at Liberty park. It was cold, so it was just a short walk. We went to Friendly Neighborhood Senior Center and read in their really cool library. Mary ended up going to the craft room and painting a heart necklace. I put it on her when we got back to the house. Before I left, I made Mary something to eat. She was hanging out with Noah until Peter got home.

I wasn't feeling very good today. Mary had a late start to the day too. After breakfast, we went on a walk and then to Olympus Senior Center to go and watch a movie. It was a John Wayne move, she liked it. We all ended up having to leave cause the center was closing. We didn't get to see the end. We came back to the house and read and just visited.
