(Starting December, I'll be starting new hours. Monday and Wednesday 10 hour days).

Today I get to spend a long day with Mary. We had breakfast
together and then when she was ready and rested a bit, we went to Tracy Aviary.
They have a good deal on Wednesday’s. It was a little cold for her but they
have an indoor area with birds too. She seemed to like it, except for the ‘cold’
part. We went for a drive and then came home and had lunch. I was cleaning up
and she decided to go for a walk. We came back and cleaned up her room and put
some things away. Mary re-arranged the leaves in the bowls and was mentioning
how nice it looked and then she was saying she was exhausted. I had her lay
down on the couch.
Over the weekend, Mary was out on a walk and fell :( she's OK. When she looked in the mirror, she laughed. She has a band-aid on her head and thought it looked funny. We went out today after she was ready and bundled up. We walked over to the park again today. The pond was frozen over and there was frost on the ground. When we got back, I had her help me put her clothes away and then I got her a snack before I left.
After Mary was all bundled up, we drove down to City Creek today. Carla came over to clean the house and I wanted to get out of her way for a little bit. It was too cold to go outside and go walking today. It was a little cool in places but inside City Creek was a little warmer. I want to get Mary used to the weather here. She kept saying it felt like a refrigerator. It kinda did. We had a good walk and sat and looked out over the city. We came back and got warmed up and talked about gardening. She said she likes to plant fruits and vegetables. I asked her when a good time to do that was and she said in the Spring. Maybe that would be a fun activity to do with her later on. :)
Mary got all bundled up today and we went for a walk at the park. It was a cold and breezy day today; winter is on it's way. We made it to the park and sat on the bench. The sun was out but the breeze was kind of cold. We came back to the house and I fixed us something warm to drink and we played with Molly and visited. She helped me put some clothes away before Peter got home.

We went for a walk and when we came back I showed Mary the pumpkins and what we were going to do today. She was up for it. We got out some towels to put on the table. I drew some faced on the white board for her to choose from. She liked the triangle face. She carved her pumpkin and was paying attention to detail. She laughed when she carved her second eye and said "It's winking at you." She was laughing at a few different things while she was carving her pumpkin. I didn't take off the top; I didn't think she would like to clean out the inside. But when I asked her later, she helped clean out her pumpkin. I carved the other one and cleaned off the pumpkin seeds so they could bake them later if the want. We went for another walk, we saw Peter on the way. We finished our walk and then came back to the house.
